The view out of the window is beautiful every season. There is a kettle and tea with sugar in the room. On request iron and ironing board are available.”

It's perfectly located to explore the city and room has a great view of the water with a small balcony. Hotels are very expensive here, and if you don't mind an old school hotel, this place is a great find.”

“Excellent value character hotel for a city break, this was my fourth stay. The hotel is warm, spotlessly clean and the rooms all have immense character. Breakfast is a simple but perfectly good buffet. If you prefer the predictability of a chain hotel, this may not be for you - but if you want a great value stay in a character building this is definitely recommended.”

We got breakfast and even a travelcard for free, the staff couldn't be nicer and the rooms had everything anyone could need i.e TV, bathroom and our room even had a balcony with a lovely view.
